About Skybase
Most companies already have the answers. They live in Slack threads, ticket comments, Notion pages nobody updated, and the heads of people who have been around longest. The problem is not that knowledge is missing. It is that it is scattered, contradictory, and hard to trust six months later.
Search helps you find files. It does not tell you which one is still true. Wikis fail for a simpler reason: updating them is never on the critical path. Work happens in chat and tickets. Documentation is a side quest. When shipping pressure rises, the page about how billing works loses. People still open it, so the wrong answer gets more confident each year.
AI made that failure expensive. Coding agents, support bots, and chat tools will answer from whatever context you feed them. If that context is stale or half invented in a thread, you get fluent nonsense with a citation. The more you connect agents to your stack without a maintained knowledge layer, the faster bad decisions scale.
Skybase is that layer. It connects to tools you already use, drafts page updates when the company moves, and waits for a human before anything becomes official. When someone or an agent asks a question, the answer comes from reviewed pages with sources, not from a best guess over raw chat history.
We are building this for teams that are tired of re-explaining the same decisions, and for engineers who need Cursor or Claude to know how the company actually works. Not another empty workspace. A product that maintains knowledge the way a careful teammate would: read what changed, propose the update, get a human yes, then answer with receipts.
